18th April 2016: Software Development
Just a quick update on progress over the last two months. Some changes have been made to the circuit board for the final release version, including changing the switches for a more reliable tactile type. More components are on order and the first batch of finished controller should be ready to purchase by the end of May.
On the software side, the controller is almost finished. On startup, the controller displays a menu allowing the user to choose between manual mode, shuttle mode, locomotive programming and controller settings. All these modes are implemented; the final stages are incorporating user feedback into the software and testing of the finished software.Link
